2010 Top Ten Albums list

So lately I’ve been thinking about this annual tradition of nerds like me of making a list of all the albums that we think you should have listened too this year while you were wasting your year away listening to Temper Trap’s “Sweet Disposition” or Chicane (dear lord). 

So I think this year I’ve made a pretty good effort of listening to a lot of new stuff compared to last year or last last year, not a lot of electronica honestly, a LOT of old bands and newish ones. I also rediscovered some affection for the Blues that I didn’t know I had. 

Also, a lot of the bands I really liked released new records this year too (Superchunk, Pernice Brothers, Sade) which made making the list a lot more difficult. Like should it be a question now of artist familiarity or if the record is actually good. 

So anyway here we go.
